Ministry of Commerce and Industry is recruiting for 12 posts for 2014

Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Noida Special Economic Zone has invited job applications from government officials for recruitment to the post of assistant development commissioner and appraiser (customs), preventive officer and steno grade III and section officer on deputation basis for a period of three years. Interested and eligible officers are required to apply on or before July 29, 2014.

Total vacancies: 12 posts

• Assistant Development Commissioner: 1 post, Pay scale: Rs 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs 4600
• Appraiser (Customs): 1 post, Pay scale: Rs 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs 4800
• Preventive Officer: 4 posts, Pay scale: Rs 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs 4600
• Section Officer (Accounts): 2 posts, Pay scale: Rs 9300-34800 + Grade pay of Rs 4200
• Steno Gr. III: 4 posts, Pay Scale: Rs 5200-20200 + Grade pay of Rs 2400

Eligibility criteria:

• Assistant Development Commissioner: The applicant should be an officer of Central Government holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or someone with 3 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs 5500-9000 or equivalent and must possess 2 years experience in the field of industrial development or foreign trade.
• Appraiser (Customs): The applicant should be an officer of Central Board of Excise and Customs holding analogous post on regular basis or someone with 3 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs 5500-9000 or equivalent and must possess 2 years experience in excise or customs procedural works.
• Preventive Officer: The applicant should be an officer of Central Board of Excise and Customs holding analogous post on regular basis or someone with 6 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs 4500-7000 or equivalent and must possess 2 years experience in excise or customs procedural works.
• Section Officer (Accounts): The applicant should be an employee of Central Government holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or with 3 years' service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs 5000-8000 or equivalent or pass in the subordinate accounts service exam or successfully completed training in the Cash and Accounts Work and must possess 3 years experience in Cash Accounts and Budget Work.
• Steno Gr. III: The applicant should be an employee of Central Government holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs 3050-4590 with 8 years regular service in the grade and possessing a speed of 80 wpm in English shorthand and 30 wpm in English Typing; Knowledge of Computer Word Processing.

1. Age limit: The age of the candidate should not be more than 56 years as on the last date for receipt of applications. 
2. Selection procedure: The candidates will be recruited for the post on transfer on deputation basis initially for a period of 3 years.
