Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry, has invited applications for the recruitment of 23 professors. Vacancies are available for Super Specialty, Broad Specialty and Non Medical fields. Last date for application is July 15, 2014.

• Salary: Scale of Pay PB - 4: 37,400 - 67,000 + GP 10,500 (Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs 51,600 + NPA.
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 58 years. The candidates should have an MBBS degree recognised by the Medical Council of India, a post graduate MD/MS degree or equivalent in the respective subject, OR a DM/M.CH degree in the relevant subject
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 12 years teaching/research experience in a recognised institute in the subject of specialty.

• Salary: PB - 4:  37,400 - 67,000 + GP 10,500 (Academic Grade Pay) with a minimum of Rs 51, 600 without NPA
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 58 years. The candidates should have a Masters degree in the concerned subject and a PhD degree.
• Experience: Candidate should have minimum 14 years teaching/research experience in a recognised institute after obtaining PhD degree.
• Selection : Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in an interview.
