Calcutta High Court is recruiting for 17 vacant posts 2014

Calcutta High Court, has invited job applications for recruitment to the post of Staff in the Judgeship of 
Dakshin Dinajpur for the year 2014 - 15. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply on or before June 27, 2014.

Vacancy details:

• English Stenographer (Grade - III): 5 posts, Pay scale: Rs 7,100 to Rs 37,600 plus Grade Pay of Rs 3,900 per month
• Office Peon (Group 'D'): 12 posts, Pay scale: Rs 4,900 to Rs 16,200 plus Grade Pay of Rs 1,700 per month  

Eligibility criteria:

• English Stenographer (Grade - III): The candidates should have passed Madhyamik or equivalent Examination from recognised board/ university and a certificate in Computer Training from recognised institute with minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and a minimum English Typing speed of 30 w.p.m. for 10 minutes.
• Office Peon (Group 'D'): the candidate should have passed eighth (8th) standard or equivalent from recognised school/ board/ university.

Age limit:

• The candidates should be between18 to 40 years of age as on June 1, 2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Application fee:

• English Stenographer (Grade - III): The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 200 (Rs 100 for SC/ ST candidates).
  Office Peon (Group 'D'): The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 50 (Rs 25 for SC/ ST candidates).
• Application fee has to be paid in the form of IPO issue by the Indian Postal Dept. in favour of the Chairman, District Recruitment Committee, Dakshin Dinajpur Judgeship, payable at Dakshin Dinajpur.

Selection procedure:

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test followed with the personality test or the interview.
