The UPSC IES/ISS 2014 exam is scheduled to be held on Saturday (May
24). The Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistic Service
(ISS) recruitment will be conducted for three days.
- The examination is being conducted for a total of 38 vacancies at Junior Times scale, 15 Indian Economic Service and 23 Indian Statistic Services openings. The recruitment is done in two parts, with a 1000 marks written test and then a 200 marks interview.
- Candidates who are appearing for the exam are required to download the admit cards from the official website of UPSC.
- The candidate can choose from three methods of admit card download, i.e. by entering their roll number or name or registration ID. They can access their admit cards through the following link: http://upscadmitcard.nic.in/IESDefault.aspx. The admit cards will be available for download till May 26, 2014.
- In case the candidates face any problem while downloading their e-admit card for the Indian Economic Service/ Statistical Service Examination or notice any kind of discrepancy in the e-admit card, they need to send an e-mail informing the authority about the problem in detail on the following id: marndi@nic.in
- Also, UPSC had released a list of candidates whose applications for the IES/ISS recruitment were rejected due to errors in fee payment. UPSC had not received confirmation from Bank Authorities regarding application fee payment for 16 IES applicants and 26 ISS applicants. Candidates can view the list of rejected applications on the UPSC website; the list includes exam applied for, registration ID, candidate name and transaction ID for each unsuccessful application.
