SBI Clerk Exam 2014: Registrations start on May 26

The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited application for recruitment to the post of Assistants in Clerical Cadre. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the same before June 14, 2014.

• Total vacancies for PWD and Ex-Serviceman: 890 posts
  Backlog vacancy for PWD: 201 posts
  Special recruitment drive for assistants in Kashmir Valley/Ladakh vacancies: 125 posts

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidate should possess a graduation degree from a recognized university. Those candidates who are in their final year of graduation/semester can also apply on provisional basis.

Application fee:

• The applicants belonging to the general and OBC category have to pay an application fee of Rs 450 (Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/XS candidates). The payment of fee has to be done online. No other means/mode of payment will be accepted.

• Interested and eligible candidates are required to register themselves on the bank's official website: www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in.
• Once the candidates have registered online, they are required tp make the application fee payment.
