JKPSC recruits for 63 posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon 2014

The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has invited job applications for recruitment to the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in Animal/ Sheep Husbandry Department. Interested and eligible candidates have to apply on or before June 20, 2014.

Vacancy details:

• Name of post: Veterinary Assistant Surgeon  
• Total number of posts: 63 posts
• Pay scale: Rs 9,300/- to Rs 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs 5,400/- Per Month.
• Eligibility criteria: The applicants should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized university. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 37 years as on January 1, 2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
• Application fee: The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500/- (Rs 250/- for reserved category candidates) in cash.
• Selection Procedure: The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/Trade Test/Practical/ Skill Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.

• The candidates have to send their applications along with the photocopies of testimonials/ certificates relating to educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, category (SC/ ST/ OBC), etc to: Secretary, J&K Public Service Commission, Polo Ground, Srinagar/ Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu.
• Those who are already employed in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Public Sector Undertakings (PSU)/ Departmental candidates are required to submit a 'No Objection Certificate'.
