The Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Kokrajhar has invited job applications for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in various departments/subjects. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply before June 27, 2014

Vacancy details:

• Assistant Professor: 55 posts, Pay: PB3 - Rs.15,600-39,100/- + AGP: Rs.6,000/-
• Associate Professor: 21 posts, Pay: PB4 - Rs.37,400-67,000/- + AGP:Rs.9,000/-
• Professor: 10 posts, Pay: PB4 - Rs. 37,400-67,000/- + AGP Rs. 10,000/-

Total Number of Post: 86 posts
Eligibility criteria:
Assistant Professor (Core Engineering excluding Animation and Multimedia Technology)

• The candidate should hold a ME/M.Tech Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class and it is preferable if the candidate posses a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a recognised institution/university. The age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years as on the last date of receiving application.

Assistant Professor (Basic Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences)

• The candidate should possess an MA/MSc Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class or should be qualified in NET conducted by UGC/CSIR. It is preferable if the candidate holds a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university. The age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years as on the last date of receiving application.

Assistant Professor (Animation and Multimedia Technology)

• The candidates must to hold a Master's Degree (Animation or Multimedia or Fine Arts/Visual Art) from a recognized University or Institute with first class. The candidate should have specialized in one or more of the following fields: 2D and Flash Animation/3DModeling/Texturing/Rigging/Animation/Lighting/ Compositing/VFX/Audio and Video Editing. The age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years as on the last date of receiving application.

Associate Professor (Core Engineering)

• The candidate should hold a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university, preceded by a BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class. The age of the candidate should not be more than 55 years as on the last date of receiving application.

Associate Professor (Basic Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences)

• The candidate should possess a Ph.D. Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university, preceded by a UG/PG Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class (or equivalent). The age of the candidate should not be more than 55 years as on the last date of receiving application.

Professor (Core Engineering)

• The candidate should hold a Ph.D Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university and a BE/B Tech and ME/M Tech Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class. The age of the candidate should not be more than 55 years as on the last date of receiving application.

Professor (Basic Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences)

• The candidate should possess a Ph. D Degree or equivalent in the concerned discipline from a reputed institution/university, preceded by a UG/PG Degree in the relevant discipline in First Class. The age of the candidate should not be more than 55 years as on the last date of receiving application.

Application fee:

• The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 600/- (Rs 300/- for SC/ST) through Demand Draft in favour of "CIT Kokrajhar" payable at Kokrajhar drawn from any nationalized bank.
