The Archaeological Survey of India has invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Conservation Assistant and Photographer. The ASI falls under the Department of Culture of Government of India and is responsible for archaeological studies and the preservation of cultural monuments. Conservation Assistant (Grade-I): 1 post
- Salary: Rs 9,300 - 34,800 + GP Rs 4,200
- Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 26 years. The candidate should have passed Class 10 and have a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institute.
Photographer (Grade-II): 2 posts
- Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs 2,400
- Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 26 years. The candidate should have passed Class 10 or equivalent and have minimum two years experience in indoor and outdoor photography, developing, printing, enlarging, copying and preparing of lantern slides.
Selection
- Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in a written test/interview.
