Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), under the Department of Atomic Energy has invited applications for recruitment to 6 Operational Trainee posts. Selected candidates will undergo a training period of 1 to 2 years. Last date for application is April 15, 2014.

Vacancies

Operational Trainee (Welder): 2 posts
  • Salary: Stipend Rs 18,078 per month (Consolidated)
  • Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. Candidate should have passed Matriculation/SSLC and have a National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Welder with at least 1 year Trade Apprenticeship training in any industry and have passed in NAC examination conducted by National Council for Vocational Training in Welder Trade (NCVT).

Operational Trainee (Laboratory Assistant): 3 posts
  • Salary: Stipend Rs 18,078 per month (Consolidated)
  • Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. Candidate should have completed Matriculation/SSLC and NCVT (3years) in the trade of Laboratory Assistant.

Graduate Operational Trainee (Chemical): 1 post
  • Salary: Stipend Rs 21,927 per month (Consolidated) during first year of training and Rs 11,855 per month during second year of training
  • Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should have completed a three year B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) degree and have knowledge of computers.

Selection

  • Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in a written test/trade test and interview.
