Paradip Port Trust notifies recruitment at the post of Pilots

Paradip Port Trust, Marine Department, Odisha has invited applications for recruitment at the post of marine pilot on contractual basis for a period of three years (extendable). The candidates can apply through walk in interview which is to be conducted on April 25.

Eligibility criteria:

Age limit:

• Candidates willing to apply should not age more than 50 years.

Educational qualification:

• Candidates are required to hold a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. Or candidates are required to possess an equivalent qualification recognised by Ministry of Shipping. Also, candidates are required to have completed one year post qualification experience as Master/ Chief Officer of a foreign going ship. Candidates having master experience will be preferred.

Remuneration:

• Candidates will be paid Rs75, 000 with three per cent of annual increment on completing one continuous year of service.
