Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti recruitment for 6 Deputy Commissioner posts

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education and Literacy, has invited applications for the recruitment to 6 posts of Deputy Commissioner. Selected candidates will be hired for an initial period of one year which may be extended on satisfactory performance. Last date for application is May 15, 2014.

Salary

• Pay scale Rs 12,000 - 375 - 16,500 (pre-revised) Revised to Pay Band - 3, Rs 15,600 - 39,100 plus Grade Pay of Rs 7,600

Eligibility 

• Candidates should have worked as Officers under the Central Government/ State Government/ Semi-Government/ Autonomous or Statutory Organisation holding analogous posts on regular basis or with 5 years regular service in the scale of Rs 10,000 - 15,200 (revised pay band PB 3, Rs 15,600 - 39,100 plus Grade pay of Rs 7,600.

Experience

• Candidate should have experience of handling administrative and academic matters.

Selection

• Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in an interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview.
