Junior Mechanic and Jr. Lab Assistant recruiting in IIT Bombay

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) has invited job applications from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Lab Assistant and Junior Mechanics in different departments. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply before May 7, 2014.

Total number of posts: 7  posts

• Jr. Mechanic at Telephone Exchange: 1 post, Pay scale: Rs 5200-20200/- (PB-1) with Grade Pay Rs 2000/-
• Jr. Mechanic at Civil Engineering: 3 posts, Pay scale: Rs 5200-20200/-(PB-1) Grade Pay Rs 2000/-
• Jr. Lab Assistant at C.E.S.E.: 1 post, Pay scale: Rs 5200-20200(PB-1) with Grade Pay Rs 2000/-
• Jr. Mechanic at Electrical Engineering: 2 posts, Pay scale: Rs 5200-20200(PB-1) with Grade Pay Rs 2000/-

Eligibility criteria:

Jr. Mechanic at Telephone Exchange:

• The applicant should have completed his or her B.E. (Electronics Engg. / Telecommunications Engg.) or possess a Diploma (Electronics Engg. / Telecommunications Engg. / Industrial Electronics). The applicant should also have knowledge of computer application. The applicant's age should not be more than 27 years.

 
Jr. Mechanic at Civil Engineering:

• The applicant should possess a diploma (Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engg. / Construction Engineering). The applicant's age should not be more than 27 years.

Jr. Lab Assistant at C.E.S.E.:

• The applicant should have completed his or her Bachelors Degree (Microbiology / Biotechnology /Chemistry / Environmental Science) or have a diploma (Biotechnology / Civil Engineering / Chemical Engg. / Environmental Science and engineering). The applicant should also have knowledge of computer application. The applicant's age should not be more than 27 years.

Jr. Mechanic at Electrical Engineering:

• The applicant must have a diploma (Electronics Engg.) or equivalent. The applicant's age should not be more than 27 years.
