Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar to recruit 11 faculty

Institute of Physics (IoP), Bhubaneswar, India, an autonomous Research Institute within the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, invites applications for 11 faculty positions of Assistant Professor (E), Reader (F) and Associate Professor (G) with the Institute in the areas of Theoretical High Energy Physics, Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics and Experimental Physics.

Vacancy Details

Total seats: 11

Assistant Professor(E):

1. Qualifications: At least two years of post-doctoral experience.
2. Age limit: Below 35 years
3. Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs 7600

Reader (F):

1. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years or more of post-doctoral experience
2. Age limit: Below 38 years
3. Pay scale: Pay Band of Rs 37400- 67000 with Grade Pay of Rs 8700

Associate Professor (G):

1. Qualifications: For direct appointment as Associate Professor (G), candidate in a similar position or at the level of Reader (F) for more than four years and having minimum 5 years of post-doctoral experience will only be considered
2. Age limit: Below 38 years
3. Pay scale: Pay Band of Rs 37400- 67000 with Grade Pay of Rs 8900
