IDRBT Research Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor recruitment

Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) established by Reserve Bank of India, has invited applications for the recruitment to the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. IDRBT focuses on providing an interface to Research and Development, Academics, Executive Education, Practice and Consultancy and to ensure that the Banking and Financial Sector in the country has state-of-the-art technology. Selected candidates will be on an initial probation period of one to two years after which they will be hired for a contract of around 5 years. Last date for application is May 20, 2014.

Vacancies:

Professor: 2 posts

• Salary: PB - 4 of Rs 37,400 - 67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs 10,500 per month
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 50 years and candidate should have a Ph.D in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Systems or Information Security or Banking Technologies or equivalent.
• Experience: Candidate should have a minimum of ten years of research / academic / professional experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor or an equivalent position in a premier and reputed institution, organization or industry. The candidate should have leadership in research and academics in a specific specialization, have applied research, provided guidance to Ph.D students, have a strong record of publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development, and other professional Research and Development and academic activities.

Associate Professor: 2 posts

• Salary: PB - 4 of Rs 37,400 - 67,000 with Grade Pay of Rs 9,500 per month
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 50 years and candidate should have a Ph.D in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Systems or Information Security or Banking Technologies or equivalent. 
• Experience: Candidate should have a minimum of six years of research / academic / professional experience of which three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or an equivalent position in a premier and reputed institution, organization or industry. The candidate should have experience of independent research and academic output in terms of guidance of M.Tech. and Ph.D students, publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, laboratory/course development, and other professional Research and Development activities.

Assistant Professor: 2 posts

• Salary: PB - 3 of Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs 8,000 per month
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 50 years and candidate should have a Ph.D in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Systems or Information Security or Banking Technologies or equivalent. 
• Experience: Candidate should have a minimum of three years of research / professional experience in a premier and reputed organization excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. The candidates should also have demonstrated research and academic capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and conferences.
