The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has invited applications for recruitment at various posts. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by May 25.

Eligibility criterion:

Educational qualifications:

• For the post of Joint Director: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess a degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering. Also, they should have an experience in development of tariffs in Power Sector utilities.
• For the post of Principal Private Secretary: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess a graduation degree from a recognised university. They should be well versed in computerised word processing. Also, they should be proficient in shorthand and typing.  
• For the post of Executive Assistant: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess a graduation degree from a recognised university.
• For the post of Personal Assistant: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess a graduation degree. They should be proficient in English typing with a speed of 40 words per minute. They should also have a diploma in Office Management and Secretariat Procedure.

Pay Scale:

• Joint Director: Pay Band-4 Rs 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay Rs 8,700
• Principal Private Secretary: Pay Band-4 Rs 37,400-67,000 with Grade Pay Rs 8,700
• Executive Assistant: Pay Band -2 Rs 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs 4,200
• Personal Assistant: Pay Band -2 Rs 9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs 4,200

How to apply:

• The candidates are required to apply online by logging on to the official website of DERC. After submitting the duly filled application forms, the candidates are required to take a print out of the application form, paste their recent photograph, put their signature in the appropriate column and must enclose a self attested copy of the certificates to substantiate the educational/ other essential qualifications. These are to be sent to "the Secretary, DERC at "VINIYAMAK BHAWAN, C-BLOCK, SHIVALIK, MALVIYA NAGAR, NEW DELHI-110017".
