Delhi College of Arts and Commerce recruits 14 non-teaching staff

Delhi University's Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC) has invited applications for the recruitment to 14 non-teaching staff posts. The last date for application is April 21, 2014.

Vacancies

Administrative Officer (AO): 2 posts

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 3 of Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs 5,400
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years and candidate should also have completed Master's degree or equivalent with at least three-year experience in supervisory or equivalent cadre in a Group- B post with proven administrative capabilities.

Section Officer (SO): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 2 of Rs 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4,600
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. The candidate should also have completed Graduation or Post Graduation in any stream with a Diploma/Certificate of minimum six-month duration in Computer Application/Office Management/Secretarial Practice/Financial Management/Accounts or equivalent Discipline OR have a Graduate Degree in Computer Application/Office Management/Secretarial Practice/Financial Management/Accounts or equivalent discipline with minimum six years of Administrative Experience.

Senior Technical Assistant - Computer (STA): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 2 of Rs 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4,200
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should have MCA or M.Sc. (Computer Science/ IT) with one-year experience or B.Tech./BE (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ ECE) or equivalent degree with one-year experience in relevant area.

Professional Assistant - Library (PAL): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 2 of Rs 9,300 - 34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4,200
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should also have completed M.Lib.Sc./ M.L.I.Sc. or equivalent OR B.Lib.Sc./ B.L.I.Sc and Master's Degree in Arts/ Science/Commerce or any other discipline with Computer Science as a subject at Graduate/ PG level or have completed a six-month Computer Science course.

Junior Library and Information Assistants/Library Assistants (JLIA/LA): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 1 of Rs 5,200 - 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1,900
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination and have a Certificate in Library Science/Library and Information Science, and studied computer science at 10+2 level or have completed a basic course in Computer Science/Word Processing.

Junior Assistants (JACT): 4 posts

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 1 of Rs 5,200 - 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1,900
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 27 years. Candidate should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent qualification OR Graduation with a Diploma/Certificate of minimum six months duration in Computer Application/Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline OR have completed graduation in Computer Application/Office Management/ Secretarial Practice/ Financial Management/ Accounts or equivalent discipline with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting through Computers.

MTS - Library Attendant (MTS-LIB): 3 posts

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 1 of Rs 5,200 - 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1,800
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 27 years. Candidate should have passed Class 10 or equivalent examination with Certificate in Library Science/Library and Information Science.

MTS - Computer Lab. Attendant (MTS-CL): 1 post

• Salary: Pay Scale PB - 1 of Rs 5,200 - 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1,900
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 27 years. The candidate should have 10+2 or equivalent examination with science subjects.

Selection

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in a written test and interview.
