CSIR- NISCAIR recruiting for 8 vacant posts 2014

CSIR- National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR) is recruiting for the position of Technical Assistant and Sr. Technical Officer. Last date to apply online is April 29, 2014.

Vacancy details:

1. Technical Assistant: 7 posts Pay: Rs 9300-34800 with GP Rs 4200/-
2. Sr. Technical Officer: 1 post Pay: Rs 15600-39100 with GP Rs 6600/-

Eligibility criteria:

1. Technical Assistant: Applicant should have passed 12th with Science subjects and have a Diploma in Printing Technology or BSc with professional qualification in Graphic Design. Also, candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on May 6, 2014.
2. Sr. Technical Officer: Applicant should have done B.E. or B. Tech or equivalent with 55 per cent marks and have 5 years experience in handling video production and/or direction and/or camera (film or video camera) and/or post production. Also, candidate should not be more than 40 years of age as on May 6, 2014.

Application fee:

1. Applicants have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 in the form of crossed Demand Draft valid for at least 3 months in favour of Director, NISCAIR, payable at New Delhi.
2. SC, ST, PWD, Women and regular employees of CSIR don not have to pay the application fee.

Selection process:

1. Candidates will be selected for recruitment to the advertised post on the bsis of their performance in the test/interview.
