SSC to conduct Grade 'C' Stenographers exam on May 11

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination on May 11 for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade-C Posts. This Limited Departmental  competitive examination will be held at Delhi, Allhabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chandigarh and Raipur. 

This examination will be conducted for providing recruitment at the post of Stenographer Grade 'C' in the following cadres:

• Stenographers Cadre of Indian Foreign Service (B) Grade-II
• Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service Grade 'C'

• Election Commission of India Stenographers Service Grade 'C'
• Central Vigilance Commission Stenographers Service Grade 'C'

Age Limit :

• The candidates who wish to apply for the above mentioned post should be 50 years of age as on 04/04/2014.

Educational Qualification :

• The candidates should possess Intermediate/ Class 12th standard Examination from any recognized University/ Board or equivalent.

• The candidates can find the application forms from the official website. A candidate seeking admission to the examination must apply to the Regional Director (NR), Staff Selection Commission, Block No.12, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504 in the prescribed application form.

• The completed application form must reach the Regional Director (NR), Staff Selection Commission, Block No.12, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi 110504, on or before 04.04.2014 and in case of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and candidates residing abroad before 11.04.2014. Application received after that date will not be considered.
