Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, Delhi University has invited applications for recruitment to 19 non-teaching posts. Last date for application is April 7, 2014.

Vacancies
1. Administrative Officer: 1 post

• Salary: Rs 15,600 - 39,100 + GP Rs 5,400
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should also have a Master degree with minimum 55 per cent marks or its equivalent with a good academic record.

2. Section Officer: 2 posts

• Salary: Rs 9,300 - 34,800 + GP Rs 4,600
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should have a Graduate or Postgraduate degree with minimum 50 per cent marks and a Diploma or Certificate of minimum 6 months duration in Computer Application/Office Management/Secretarial Practice/Financial Management/Accounts or equivalent Discipline with minimum 6 years of administrative experience.

3. Sr. Technical Assistant (Computer): 1 post

• Salary: Rs 9,300 - 34,800 + GP Rs 4,200
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should have MCA or MSc in Computer Science/IT with one year experience OR B.Tech/B.E degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ECE) with one year experience in relevant area.

4. Professional Assistant (Lib.): 1 post

• Salary: Rs 9,300 - 34,800 + GP Rs 4,200
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should have M.Lib.Sc./M.L.I.Sc OR Master Degree OR B.Lib.Sc/B.L.I.Sc with 50 per cent marks and should have studied computer science at graduate or post graduate level or have completed a six months Computer Science course from a recognized institution.

5. Semi Professional Assistant: 1 post

• Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs 2,800
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 35 years. Candidate should have completed Graduation or any other higher qualification with 50 per cent marks and should have studied computer science at graduate or post graduate level or have completed a six months Computer Science course from a recognized institution.

6. Cartographic Assistant: 1 post

• Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs 2,800
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. Candidate should have completed Graduation or Post graduation with 2 years of relevant experience.

7. Library Assistant: 1 post

• Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs 1,900
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. Candidate should have passed Sr.Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by State Board of Education or University and have a Certificate in Library Science/Library and Information Science and have basic computer science knowledge.

8. Junior Assistant: 4 posts

• Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs 1,900
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 27 years. Candidate should have cleared Class 12 or its equivalent with minimum 50 per cent marks and have a Diploma/Certificate of minimum 6 months duration in Computer Application/Office Management/Secretarial Practice/Financial Management/Accounts or equivalent discipline. Candidate should also have a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi Typewriting through Computers.

9. Library Attendant M.T.S: 5 posts

• Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs 1,800
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. Candidate should have completed Class 10 or equivalent examination from a recognized institution and have a Certificate in Library Science/Library and Information Science.

10. Computer Lab. Attendant-M.T.S: 2 posts

• Salary: Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs 1,800
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be below 30 years. Candidate should have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with science subjects.

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written examination and interview.
