1. For the post of Subject Matter Specialist: The candidates applying for this post should possess a Masters degree in the relevant field or should have attained equivalent qualifications from a recognised university.
The candidates having a work experience at Krishi Vigyan Kendra or any other reputed organisation will be preferred.
2. For the post of Programme Assistant: The candidates applying for this post should possess a Bachelors degree in Agriculture or should have attained equivalent qualifications from a recognised university.
The candidates having a work experience in similar field with farming communities in reputed organisations will be preferred.
3. For the post of Skilled Supporting Staff: The candidates applying for this post should have at least one year of experience in a reputed organisation.
Note: For applying for either of the aforementioned posts, the candidates should be able to read, write and speak in Bengali.
Pay Scale:
1. Subject Matter Specialist: Pay band PB - 3 and pay scale of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39, 100 plus grade pay of Rs 5, 400 per month.
2. Programme Assistant: Pay band PB - 2 and pay scale of Rs 9, 300 to Rs 34, 800 plus grade pay of Rs 4, 200 per month.
3. Skilled Supporting Staff: Pay band PB - 1 and pay scale of Rs 5, 200 to Rs 20, 200 plus grade pay of Rs 1, 800 per month.
2. Programme Assistant: Pay band PB - 2 and pay scale of Rs 9, 300 to Rs 34, 800 plus grade pay of Rs 4, 200 per month.

Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written test/ trade test/ practical/ skill test/ interview.
