Educational Qualifications:

1. Candidates applying for the post of assistant professor should possess BA / BCom/ BSc or equivalent from a recognised university. 
2. Candidates should possess MA/ MCom/ MSc in relevant subject or equivalent from a recognised university.
3. Candidates should have done BEd/ MEd. from a recognised university. Or the candidates should have acquired PhD/ M Phil or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
4. Candidates should have qualified NET/ UPSET/ any other qualification in appropriate discipline.

Age limit: Candidates applying for the post should not age more than 35 years.

Pay Scale: Pay Band PB - 3 and pay scale of Rs 15, 600 to Rs 39, 100 plus academic grade pay of Rs 6, 000 per month.

Selection process: Candidates will be selected based on their performances in written test/ trade test/ practical/ skill test/ interviews.
