Jharkhand SSC invites application for 73 posts of Scientific Assistants

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission invited application for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant in various disciplines to be employed at State Forensic Laboratory through the Scientific Assistant Competitive Examination 2013. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format from March 4,  2014 to  April 3, 2014.

• Scientific Assistant (Physics + Fire Arms) : 17 posts
• Scientific Assistant (Document/ Hand Writing / Finger Prints/ Foot Prints) : 3 posts
• Scientific Assistant (Chemicals/ Poison Science/ Detonator/ Narcotics) : 30 posts
• Scientific Assistant (Biology/ Serum Science / DNA) : 20 posts
• Scientific Assistant (Photography) : 3 posts

Eligibility :

1. M.Sc in particular disciple applied for from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks.
2. Technical knowledge in Windows,MS office, Internet, e-mail is preferable
3. Age of candidates should be between 21-35 Years as on August 01, 2013

Selection procedure :

Written examination in the particular discipline will be taken. Each paper will have two sections and each section will have 100 questions. Pattern of examination is MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based. Exam Duration is 2 hours.

The successful candidates will be called for a personal interview.

Fee  (non refundable) should be deposited through online generated Fee challan in any branch of Bank of India before the last date 

• For SC/ST Category Candidates of State- Rs 125
• For All Other Category Candidates          - Rs 500
