The Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) force has invited applications from male and female candidates for the recruitment to Constable and Head Constable posts. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India or outside of India. Last date for application is March 31, 2014.

Head Constable (Master): 6 posts
Salary: Pay Band -I, Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs 2,400 per month.
Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 25 years. Candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or equivalent and Master or Serang Certificate with one year experience in the respective trade.

- Salary: Pay Band -I, Rs 5,200 - 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs 2,400 per month.
- Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 23 years. Candidate should have completed matriculation or equivalent and have a 2nd Class Engine Driver Certificate and two years experience in operating of a Boat below 265 HP as a sukhani or Greaser.
Selection
Candidate will go through a five step process before selection: height test, race, physical standard test, written examination and a final detailed medical examination.

The hard copy of the form is to be sent by post to the given address attached with the required documents. Application fee is to be paid through Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only which are available at any Post Office.

- SC/ST/Women candidates/ex servicemen are exempted from the fees.
