ECHS to recruit 36 various posts 2014

Ex- Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has invited applications from the eligible candidates for filling up the posts on contractual basis in various ECHS polyclinics under Station Headquarters, Chennai. Candidates eligible for the post can apply on or before April 1, 2014.

• Medical Specialist: 5
• Medical Officer: 4
• Gynaecologist: 1
• Radiologist: 2
• Nursing Assistant: 4
• Lab Technician: 9
• Dental Hygienist: 6
• Night Watchman: 5

Educational Qualification

1. For post 1 & 3: M.D/ M.S in concerned specialty/ relevant field
2. For post 2: M.B.B.S required
3. For post 5: DMN, Dip/ Class I NAC (Armed Forces)
4. For post 7: Diploma Holder in Dental Hygienist/ Class-I DH/ DORA
5. Matriculation or equivalent and relevant experience in the trade.

Age limit & relaxation:

•  For post 1 & 4: Below 63 years
• For post 5 & 7: 53 years

Pay Scale/ Salary:

Pay Band PB - 1 and Pay Scale of Rs 5,200/- to Rs 20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs 2,400 per month and allowances as admissible under Central Govt. Rules.

How to apply:

1. Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format along with self- attested photocopies of relevant testimonials/ certificates relating to educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, category (SC/ ST/ OBC)and two recent passport size photograph.
2. Candidates have to send the form to the Station Headquarters (ECHS), Fort Saint George, Chennai.

Selection procedure

•  The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Interview, which will be conducted by the administration. Interview will be conducted on April 9, 2014 and the Venue for the Interview is Station Headquarters (ECHS), Fort Saint George, Chennai -09.
