Director General of BSF, invites applications from Male or Female Indian citizens for the post of Junior Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Deputy Commandant) (Combatised) Group 'A'.

Eligibility:

1. Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination License in any one category of Avionics (E, I, R)/ (ES, IS, RN) or (A, C)/ (HA & JE) in Mechanical stream
2. Total Aircraft Maintenance experience of 3 years including one year as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on type of Aircraft or Helicopter held by BSF.
3. Holder of Engineering Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Tele - Communications or Aeronautical stream
4. Graduate with holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination Certificate or Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Examination License in Air Frame (A) or Engine (C) or (HA & JE) (for Advance Light Helicopter)
5. Total Aircraft Maintenance Experience of three years including one year as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on type of Aircraft or Helicopter held by BSF.

Age limt

1. Age Limit not exceeding 30 years as on closing date of receipt of application.
2. Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. officers, SC and ST, OBC and other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.

Pay Scale: Pay Band is PB - 3 and the Pay Scale is Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 plus grade pay of Rs 6,600

Fee payment:

Each application should carry a Demand Draft for Rs 100 (One Hundred) only as examination fee in favour of "Commandant 25 BN BSF", payable at respective SBI - ADB Najafgarh, Code No 001419 or Indian Postal Order will be payable at Post Office "Najafgarh". However, the SC/ ST and Departmental (BSF) candidates are not required to submit examination fee. Women candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.

Selection procedure: 
Selection procedure will be carried out in three pahse:

First Phase: Written Examination

Second Phase: 

1. Documentation (Checking of Documents).
2. Oral cum Practical Test.

Third Phase

1. Interview.
2. Medical Examination.

There shall be sufficient gap between two phases of the tests.

How to apply 

1. Application along with photo copies of Testimonials/ Certificates of Educational and Experience etc. duly attested by Gazetted Officer and Demand Draft/ IPO, should be sent to The Commandant, 25 BN BSF, Chhawla Camp, Nazafgarh Road, Post Office - Chhawla, New Delhi - 110071,
2. Also enclosed two self addressed envelopes affix postal stamp of Rs 39 and submit before April 1, 2014.
3. Three recent passport size photograph, one each should be affix on the application form and admit card and the other one is to be kept in record.
