(TRG/AP) and Chairman Central Recruitment Board Meghalaya, Shillong invites prescribed application format from Meghalaya state candidates (both male and female) to fill up 120 vacancies in the Armed Branch Sub-Inspector of Police (ABSI) for the Special Forces-10 (SF-10). The last date for receipt of applications is 1st April 2014.

Age Relaxation: 5 Years in case of candidates belonging to the SC/ST.
Educational Qualification:  Bachelor's degree (UG) in any discipline from a recognized University.
Physical Standards: Height -> Male - 162 Cms for SC/ST, 167 Cms for others; Female - 157 Cms for SC/ST, 160 Cms for others.
Medical Standards: The candidates should be of sound health, free from defect/deformity/disease. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses) and no colour blindness. No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count.
Selection Process: Physical Efficiency Test - 200 Marks, Written Examination - 200 Marks, Interview - 50 Marks
Physical Efficiency Test –> 10 KM race for male candidates will have to be completed within 55 minutes and 5.5 KM race for female candidates will have to be completed within 34 minutes
Written Tests -> Only those candidates, who qualify in the physical tests, will be allowed to appear in the written/subsequent tests as follows:-

Personal Interview -> The Central Selection Board shall decide the number of candidates to be called for interview based on the total number of vacancies. Candidates who have qualified in the written tests will be required to attend the interviews which will be intimated in due course.
How To Apply: Application in the prescribed Printed Application Form complete in all respect reach to The offices of all District Superintendents of Police and Commandants of MLP Battalions and Principal, PTS Mawroh Shillong on payment of Rs. 50/-. The Last Date for receipt of applications is 01/04/2014.
