Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is seeking applicants for the posts of assistant officer, medical officers, human resource officer, quality control officer and a few other posts. There are 156 vacancies in the company.

Posts and eligibility criteria:

Boiler operations engineer: 

Number of vacancies: 26

Required qualification:
Four -year B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical discipline (Regular full-time engineering course from recognised Indian university / institute) with minimum  60 per cent marks (55 per cent for SC/ST candidates). The candidate must possess a boiler engineerâ??s certificate (1st class proficiency) issued by the state boiler authorities.

Medical officer:

Number of vacancies: 20

Required qualification:
1)    General physician: MD (General Medicine)
2)    General physician (with OHC background): MD (General Medicine) preferably with specialisation in occupational / industrial health
3)    General Physician: MD (General Medicine) with Cardiac experience
4)    Surgeon: MS (General Surgery)
5)    Anaesthetist: MD (Anaesthesia)
6)    Gynaecologist and Obestrician: MD/MS (Gynaecology and Obestrics)
7)    Orthopaedician: MS (Ortho)

Quality control officer:

Number of vacancies: 17

Required qualification:
Ph.D in chemistry from a recognised Indian university/institute with minimum 60 per cent marks in graduation and post-graduation level {(55 per cent for SC/ST and (PWD) Persons with Disabilities (OH (OL,OA) candidates only)}.

Human resource officer:

Number of Vacancies: 32

Required qualification:
Two-year full-time regular post-graduate diploma / masters degree in Human Resource / Personnel Management and Industrial Relations/ Social Work or equivalent qualification from a recognised Indian institute / university with minimum 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade {(55 per cent for SC/ST and (PWD) Persons with Disabilities OH(OA,OL,OAL,BL), HH ,VH(B,LV)}) candidates only.

Assistant officer (Health, Safety and Environment):

Number of vacancies: 50

Required qualification:
Regular full-time BE / B.Tech degree in chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering with minimum 65 per cent marks or equivalent grade from a recognised Indian university / institute (55 per cent for SC / ST candidates) and one-year full-time diploma in industrial safety from one of the central / regional labour institutes.

Assistant Hindi Officer:

Number of Vacancies: 11

Required qualification:
First-class M.A. in Hindi (second-class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) with English as subject at graduation level or first -class masterâ??s degree in English (second -class for SC/ST and PWD {OH(OL,BL,OA,} , {VH(B,LV)},HH candidates only with higher Hindi at graduation level. Candidates with Ph.D qualification shall be given preference.

Fees schedule: 
Applicants not belonging to SC, ST and PWD sections are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300 by Demand Draft.

Selection method: 
Selection of candidates will be based on the written test and interview conducted by the organisation.
