ESIC to recruit for 480 teaching posts in medical colleges

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) invites applications for recruitment 2014 forteaching posts - Professor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at various locations for ESIC medical colleges. The eligible candidates can apply for the post online on or before 3 February 2014.

Age Limit: 
The candidates for all the posts are required to be less than 50 years in age.

Educational Qualification:
The candidate is required to have a recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Also, the candidate is required to have a post-graduate qualification, e.g., MD/ MS or an equivalent recognized qualification in the respective subject. 


Pay Scale:

•     Professor: Rs 37,400 to 67,000 + AGP- Rs 8,700/-
•     Associate Professor: Rs 15,600 to 39,100 + AGP- Rs 7,600/-
•     Assistant Professor: Rs 15,600 to 39,100 + AGP- Rs 6,600/-

Application fee:

•     General/ OBC candidates need to pay the fees of Rs 225/- drawn in the favour of 'ESI Fund Account No. I', drawn on any scheduled bank, payable at New Delhi.
•     Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD/ Departmental candidates/ Female candidates & Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from payment of fees.
