Bank of India announces recruitment for 27 security officers in Middle Management Grade/Scale II

Bank of India has invited applications for the recruitment of 27 Security Officers in Middle Management Grade/Scale II. Applications are to be submitted online, but payment needs to be paid offline through Bank Challan. Last date for application is February 20, 2014.

Security Officer Scale II: 27 posts

(SC: 4 posts, ST: 2 posts, OBC: 8 posts, General: 13 posts)

Pay Scale: MMG Scale II : 19400-700/1- 20100-800/10 - 28100 

Eligibility: Candidate should be above 25 years and below 40 years. Candidate should be a Graduate from a recognized University or equivalent and should have completed a minimum three month certification computer course or equivalent.

Experience: Candidate should have been an officer with minimum 5 years commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force or have been a police officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police / Deputy Supt. Police with minimum 5 years of Service, or officers of identical rank in the para-military forces with minimum 5 years service.

Selection

Candidates will be selected to the post of Security Officer on the basis of performance in Group Discussion and Interview. Both GD and Interview are worth 100 marks each, however the Group Discussion is of qualifying nature only. Only candidates scoring minimum 40 per cent marks in the Group Discussion (35 per cent for SC/ST/OBC) will be eligible for the Interview. Minimum score to clear the Interview is 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/OBC).
